It is turning into a ZOO around here

I really suck at keeping up with this thing. I thought once school ended this semester I'd have time to post. That wasnt the case! Oh well. I'm gonna try harder to keep up with it though and post on a regular basis. I guess I should have more motivation now since, well it is really going to turn into a zoo around here in July. That's right...I'm pregnant again. This was by no means planned! God help me!!! So I supposed this will turn into somewhat of a pregnancy blog, at least for a little while. I'm due July 13th but since I am opting for another C-section he said he will schedule it for the week before...some time around the 6th. And had our first appointment on the 17th and said I was 6 weeks along. I think I am finally coming to terms with the fact that I am pregnant. Took quite a while to face it though. We found out around the 4th of November. And after a few days of crying and panicing I figured there isnt much I can do now. Lyndon took much longer to accept it. He is just now warming up to the idea. For the longest time he refused to believe or say he was going to be a big brother or that there was even a baby in my belly. I now have him convienced he is going to have a sister and her name is Sophia. Of course, some one else isnt too happy about that. He has his heart set on another boy. Tough luck...it will be a girl or I will be switching babies in the hospital haha!

Ding Dong The Witch is Dead...

Things have been crazy lately so I havent had much time to update this thing. I seem to always be swamped with school work! I hate school...I dont know why I decided to go back. I'm hoping it gets better or I get used to it. But so far that isnt the case. I was on the wait list for the CNA class that started Oct 16th and they decided to send me an email the 15th letting me know I got a spot and could register for it. However, I only had 12 hours to decide and I didnt check my email until after it was too late. Assholes! But whatever, I am registered to take it next semester anyway.

It's approx. a week and 4 days until the Marine Ball...oh joy joy. And instead of doing the usual which dress should I get bullshit like every other year, I am wearing the dress I wore for Emily's wedding. Its a really cute dress and it fits me better now than it actually did for her wedding. I still used dress shopping as an excuse to get anyway for a day though. And Katie and I went to St Louis to "dress shop". Which turned into trying on ridiculous and hideous dresses just for the hell of it and shoe shopping. It was a fun day until we got lost on the way home. We some how ended up on these creepy back roads in the middle of no where with nothing but corn fields around us. And it would have been fine it is wasnt like 10 at night. That's when things started getting scary. It probably didnt help that I've seen too many scary movies. I swear it was the classic horror movie scene though. Including cell phones losing reception and trucks showing up out of no where and trying to run us off the road! We somehow managed to make it home safely though.

As for Lyndon, he is getting way to big. And so bossy! Lately every thing that comes out of his mouth is follwed by 'right now!' Such as "get me a sippy cup, right now!". Of course, he doesnt get it. I dont play that game. I refuse to get him anything unless he says please mommy. My absolute favorite thing he says though is "I love you too much!" after I tell him I love him so much. It is soooo cute.

I'm still havent decided on a Halloween costume for him. I guess I am just being too picky. But considering Halloween is this weekend, I guess I should decide on something. He absolutely loves going to the Halloween store too. Everytime we get in the car he asks if we are going to there. He is obsessed with Halloween right now. He has such an imagination too...thank god! He walks around the house with boxes in his head saying really slowly in a monotone voice "Robot, robot" He is nuts!

Oh good news, we might be coming home for Thanksgiving! The hubby asked me yesterday if I wanted to cause he was thinking about taking leave. OF COURSE I DO!!! Like I would turn down a chance to go home! He even agreed to participate in my family events after I promised he wouldnt have to see a certain wicked witch (haha)! Hopefully his leave request gets aprroved and we get to. We shall see though.

Doggy Jail

Sometime Tuesday afternoon I put our demon dog, Icee outside on her runner. She doesn't go out there a lot but every now and then if she has been trapped up in the house for a while or just really on my nerves I put her on it. Well since the in-laws were here for the weekend, she had been locked up in her kennel quite a bit cause she just wouldn't settle down. So anyway, she had been out there for a few hours and I had went out to check on her every once in a while to make sure she was ok and not tangled around the tree or something. Around 4:30 maybe 5, I went out to get her. As soon as I walked around the garage I knew she was gone. I could tell by how her line was that she wasn't on it anymore. I then noticed a piece of her collar lying on the ground. She had the kind of collar that is loose on her until she pulls against it then it tightens. Great collar...except when you have a dog smart enough to realize she can chew that piece off and set herself free. Me and Lyndon then proceeded to walk to neighborhood looking for her until it started getting darker and pretty chilly. She was no where to be seen! When Clem got home, I made him ride around looking for her...no luck! We asked the neighbors if they had seen her and the guy next door said he had and he tried to grab her but she didn't have a collar one so he couldn't get a hold of her. Well thanks for walking next door and letting us know that earlier!!!!I was surprisingly worried about her that night. It was really cold and I just knew she had gotten in the creek down the road which means she would be a dog-sickle by morning. I tell her all the time to run away but I didn't really mean it. Well yesterday, I called Animal Control aka Doggy Jail to see if maybe they picked her up. I described her, and guess what! They picked her up the night before! Thank god! But since they were about to close and Clem had my car I couldn't go get her until this morning. So after making a trip to Walmart to buy a new collar like that one she had and a metal one for when she is on her line, I picked her up. She was so hyper and excited to see me and Lyndon...and to get out of that cage too I'm sure. She will be making a trip to the vet soon to be micro-chipped since she is an escape artist. She is home though and Lyndon couldn't be happier

It's a bird..It's a plane...

No, it's Super Lyndon! I honestly believe he thinks he is a super hero. He is crazy. He jumps off of the end tables in the living room and says he is flying and runs around with the motorcycle helmet on his head saying he is a super hero. Well, while I was studying in the living room a few days ago, I had locked him in the kitchen with his daddy (baby gates are wonderful!) After hearing lots of laughing from his daddy and him telling Lyndon to be still numerous times, I thought I should investigate. God only knew what he could have been doing to that poor baby. He is so evil sometimes! This is what I came in the kitchen to find. Daddy is SO mean!!! Ha ha! Lyndon loved it though. He always puts boxes on his head anyway, so this was perfect. It reminds me of the Spartan on 300. Shortly after this, it was ripped off. He didnt like that I took pictures of it. I guess he knew I'd post it for the whole world to see and later in his life use it as blackmail to show all his little girlfriends! He knows me so well :)

Yummy!!!

So I decided Saturday that I would actaully cook a real meal. Something really good that I dont usually cook. Well I had these whole crawfish that were seasoned and frozen. I found them at this really cool grocery store not long ago and hadnt used them yet. So I looked up recipes and found one of Emeril Lagasse's that sounded REALLY good! Considering my husband will pretty much eat anything anyway I figured it was worth a shot. Man, was it good too! And it was actually pretty easy to make, with the exception of trying to peel those damn crawfish while cooking everything else. I probably should have done that first but he was rushing me because he was hungry. MEN! The pictures dont even do it justice. Luckily however, I did snap a few before he dug into it. Good thing too because there was NONE left...not even one piece of pasta! {It looks like that is barely any crawfish in it but there was well over the 1 lb. it called for. It just all settled to the bottom. } Here is the recipe:

Crawfish & Cream over Pasta

Ingredients
1 pound linguine or fettucine
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 tablespoons unsalted
butter
1 cup chopped yellow onions
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons Essence, recipe follows
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 cups heavy cream
1 tablespoon fresh lemon
juice
1 pound crawfish tails*
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
1 cup grated Parmesan
Directions
Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid. Return to the pot and toss with the olive oil and reserved cooking liquid. Cover to keep warm.
In a large saute pan or skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the onions and cook, stirring, until soft, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, Essence, salt, and cayenne, and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add the white wine and cook over high heat until nearly all evaporated. Add the cream lemon juice and cook, stirring occasionally, until slightly reduced. Add the crawfish tails and cook, stirring, to warm through. Add the onions and parsley and cook for 1 minute. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook until the pasta is warmed through, about 1 minute. Remove from the heat and add 1/2 cup of the cheese.
Turn out into a serving bowl and top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese. Serve.
*Peeled medium shrimp can be substituted, but the cooking time must be increased to allow thorough cooking.
Emeril's ESSENCE Creole Seasoning (also referred to as Bayou Blast):
2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme
Combine all ingredients thoroughly.
Yield: 2/3 cup

{The only changes I made were I used bottles Lemon juice because I forgot to buy lemons and I left out the paprika in the Essence Seasoning because I forgot it too...ha ha oh well! It tasted really good anyway!}

What!?

Just a little update about my last post. No, I haven't decided what he is going to be yet. However, I told his daddy about the Swiper costumes and showed them to him. With out any hesitation, he told me to buy the $130 one! WHAT!?! Are you serious! It's 130 dollars...not monopoly money!!!! Although I am really tempted to just because he said I could, I cant bring myself to spend that much a costumed he'd wear one year. Granted, I'm sure he would get his use out of it and wear it everyday until he grew out of it. Or, I could sell it on Ebay and make some of that money back. It would kill me to shell out that much money on a costume! I'm just in shock he told me to get it. He has lost his crazy mind!

The Great Debate

So maybe it isnt a great debate...but whatever. I have been trying to think of what Lyndon could be for Halloween. After thinking for a while, it hit me...a Flying Monkey off the Wizard of Oz. It would be perfect! He is a little evil and we are related to the Wicked Witch (I shall not name her but it shouldnt be hard to figure out). I searched and searched for a cute Flying Monkey costume but with unfortunately I didnt find one that was actually cute and his size. I was very upset. I considering seeing if Lyndon's super sweet Aunt Erika would make him a Flying Monkey costume if I found a good plain monkey costume. I then began to come up with all kinds of random choices. Kangaroo, squirrel, zebra (haha..I bet he would be afraid of it just like his zebra tent). I dont realy want to do a character off of a movie or show...it seems to be what everyone does. I want him to be cute and kind of stand out. Well with his new obsession with Dora, and his constant talking about Swiper the Fox, I thought that would be extremely cute. I started my search for it which lead me to one of the only Swiper costumes I could find...it is HIDEOUS (yes, thats a picture of it)! It looks like Swiper had rabies or something. I couldnt possibly put my child in that thing! Then I found a this PERFECT one! It looks so much like Swiper, its unreal. I couldnt save a picture of it to put on here because its copyrighted. But the website is.. http://www.bellesphotography.com/swiper.htm

And as much as I want that costume for him..it is $130! I cant bring myself to spend that much money on a costume he will wear one year! Its insane. Now I'm not sure what he is gonna be and of course his daddy is NO help! Men are useless. But I need ideas...any suggestion?!?

I'm a college student AGAIN!!!

It's been a while since I've posted anything. And so much has happened since then. I wouldnt know where to begin so I guess I will just stick to whats going on now.
I've been planning and wanting to go back to school. Yes, I am very aware that I am crazy for wanting to go back to school. But I do...at least at the moment. I'm sure once classes start I will regret it. So anyway. I had applied for all the financial aid stuff way back when and applied to Lincoln Land (which is a little community college...its a start though). At the beginning of July, I got the financial aid award letter from Lincoln Land. Pretty much, I would be getting a Pell Grant that was almost double tuition. I was pretty pissed at the time cause I did think I would get to go back to school. Well yesterday, I registered for classes!!!! Considering classes start the 24th (well the 22nd for me) there wasnt many open classes left. I got stuck with an online Composition class, a hybrid Biology class (all my class work is online and I have to go to lab 4 times during the semester. Turned out the lab was from 6:00 pm- 9:50pm oh joy!), and a Political Science class that is on Saturday morning! Such a great schedule, dont you think? But how my classes fall, I wont have to put Lyndon in day care yet. So I can save up that money for a little while. Then in Oct, if I get into to Certified Nurses Assistant Class (*fingers crossed* I'm #2 on the waitlist) I will have class 5 days a week from 8-12. So I will have to put Lyndon in daycare then. I'm just ready for classes to start...I've been anxious since I left the school yesterday. Its crazy.

About Lyndon now, I guess. He is a wild beast. That pretty much sums it up. I'm sure you thinking I'm kidding. If only I were. We spent quite a bit of the summer in LA. Which means he spent a lot of time with his Mamaw. And that can never be a good thing. Especially when Mamaw lets him do, say, and act however he wants without any punishment. I have to be the bad guy then, and try to break him of all these new habits. Which leads to horrible headaches from fussing all day. I usually takes 2 weeks to break him of 1 week spent with her. Well it was almost 2 months so I'm guessing sometime late next year I will have him broken of it all. He is doing really well with potty training though. He wears big boy underwear during the day unless we will be in the car for a long time and he only wears pull-ups at night...mostly because I dont want to chance him peeing in the bed.

I guess that's it for now. I will update more later

The Paint Incident...

I have been meaning to post this and have been putting it off. Someone, who shall remain nameless, decided to play in craft paint one day while his mommy was taking a shower.
Usually that mommy waits until he is taking a nap but this day he decided not to nap. This paint happened to be in his closet and had been moved down lower where he could get to it. And he and the dog must have worked together to get in his closet since it is hard to open and there was a box in front of it. But somehow, they got it open.
Apparently at first, paint was just being dumped into the box it was in. That was until someone realized how much more fun it was to sling it all across his room onto his carpet. He and the dog then decided to play all in it. Just as his mommy was getting out of the shower, his daddy was coming in from work and screamed 'WHAT THE HELL?!?' as he was greeted by a blue and green spotted dog.

And that someone was caught with a bottle of yellow paint just in time. A few seconds later there would have been yellow paint slung everywhere too. Unfortunately, there are no pictures of what the dog looked like. However, as you see there are some incriminating photos of that little someone and his room. The funny thing is, he didnt even get in trouble for it. We were too busy trying to get them cleaned before they got it all over the house.

Luckily with the help of acetone nail polish remover, the paint is slowly coming up. He better be glad he isnt old enough to be put to work!

I won't be homeless! YAY!

We have been trying to find a house to rent for a while. Now that they are tranfering us to Jacksonvillethough, we started searching out there. It wasnt going too well at first either. Everything was either tiny or didn't allow pets. That wouldnt have been a big problem except someone just had to have a dog! I must admit although I cant stand having her some times, I have grown attached to her and I didnt want to get rid of her unless we absolutely had to. Well, as I was leaving town one day, I happened to turn down a random street just hoping to see a house for rent. That must have been my lucky day too! I saw this cute little house, nothing too special, and there was a for rent sign in the yard. I called the number and the girl actually had two houses for rent so I set up times to look at both of them. Well, the first house was the smallest thing I have ever been in. I dont think our furniture would even fit in that place and if it did, there is no way we could move around it. Plus it had absolutely no yard. An the bath room wasnt even 2 feet wide! NOOO THANK YOU!!! SO we went to the next one, the one I had originally called about. As soon as we walked in, I was pretty much sold. It was a HUGE laundry room and a HUGE kitchen. I havent lived in a place with a big kitchen since my parents house. I'm so tired of these little ass closet size kitchens. They asked how we liked it and if we had any questions. That's when I thought my stupid husband screwed it up for us. I hear the words, "What about pets?" come out of his mouth. I swear if looks could kill, he would be dead right now. He then proceeded to tell them that we had a Siberian Husky. The guy was so not happy about us having a dog either. Yep, that is it. We arent getting this house. I was so disappointed. Then a few days later, I got a call from the guy asking if he could drop off a form for me to fill out. I thought they just wanted to come by to see if we kept out house clean. Turns out, there really was a form. It was about the dog too. I figured if they had already ruled us out with the dog then they wouldnt have bothered bringing that by. The next night, the hubby was telling me about the guy calling the office that day to verify his employment stuff. And as we were talking about it, my phone started ringing. It was the guy! He called to tell me that they just finished going through the applications and we were at the top of their list. We got it! I'm so excited! I was really starting to stress out that we wouldnt have any where to live after this month. Thank god, I wont be homeless!

Our trip to LA!

I thought maybe I should upload a few pictures from our trip to LA that didnt involve half dressed men. While we were down, we spent the night in Baton Rouge with Aunt Erika, Uncle Josh and Lily. Erika and I took the kids to this cool Spray Park in Gonzalez. I wanted to play in it so bad. There are apparently some cute pictures from it that someone should email me!!! *hint *hint But anyway, before we left town me and Lyndon tagged along on Erika's class field trip to a park. Lyndon had a ton of fun playing with the big kids. I managed to get a few pictures of him too. He isn't as camera friendly as he was when he was younger. Stubborn little boy!

{He LOVES to swing!}

{Right after, this he shoved the camera away as if I were paparazzi}

The night before Emily's wedding shower turned in to quite an eventful night as well. I was put in charge of getting a cake for the shower. And since my first 2 choices in bakeries was booked up for the week and I was trying to avoid going to Wal-mart, I stupidly listened to my mom's boss. I ended up ordering a cake from a random lady in Natchez that mom's boss knew. I wish I had taken pictures of this cake. It was a complete disaster. It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. It has dark brown chocolate icing with white icing trimming and very tacky things all over it. I decided I would justorder a cake from Wal-Mart because I was not showing up with that thing! Emily didnt want me to get another cake so we decided to fix it ourselves. Well, neither of us have experience in this but we have both seen tons of Food Network Challenges and figured it couldnt be that hard. We bought fondant, icing and dye. Then took the cake to my monther-in-laws since she knows how to pipe icing. We got her to smooth everything out as we rolled out the fondant. That turned in to quite a task. That stuff was hard! We finally got it rolled out enough and attempted to put it on the cake. The corners were the hardest part and ended up looking kind of bad. So I dyed some of the fondant and cut circles out of it to place over the corners. And we had Linda pipe pink icing around the cake. That crazy lady got a little too out of control and "tried to fix" the corners for us. Which ended up looking crazy. But by the time we finished the cake it turned out ok...alot better than it had to start with! I am very proud of our work especially since neither of us have every even tried to do this before.

{the finished product!}

{the corner after Linda had finished with it}

{Lyndon eating powdered sugar}

{ he LOVED that stuff!}

Girls just want to have FUN!

One word says it all: Chippendale's! Emily and I went to New Orleans on Friday to see them at the Harrah's Casino. It was by far one of the best times I've had! Those are some good looking men, even if they are all gay like Josh says! I would go again in a heartbeat. Apparently though, they dont take off as much as they did in the past. At least that was what the older ladies next to us said. I dont know what else they could have taken off though without being completely naked. Then again as the men were dancing around the audience having money shoved down their underwear, one of them told the old ladies that he remembered them. So, I guess they had been to quite a few. Ha ha! It was so much fun though! And I just wanted to show Erika what she missed out on!

Not ready for the change...

This morning while I was still partially asleep in bed, the husband called to tell me that if one of the other recruiters gets set back to the fleet early (he apparently did some stuff he wasn't supposed to do) that Ssgt was thinking about sending him to that office to work it. Well even though that office isn't too far from Springfield, its enough of a drive that it would be stupid not to move there especially since we have to move out of the current place by the end of May. Now, I was barely awake at the time so I didn't really think it through and told him that I didn't really care if he took over that office. He would be the only recruiter in that office so it would mean a little more freedom. As I began thinking about it more within the last few hours and as I was telling Vickie about it, I realized I don't want to move there. I really like living in Springfield. I actually have a few friends here. I know where everything is. And granted there is a Y there, I like the one here. I know a lot of the staff now and the other people that work out. I'm comfortable working out there. Not to mention, I mailed off my application to Lincoln Land Community College yesterday. I want to go back to school. Like, I really want to. And he knows that. I guess, its pretty much a done deal now too because on the way home from the gym Ssgt called Vickie and told her about it and was like don't tell Gabby though. So I was almost in tears thinking about it. It's just not what I want. And I know it isn't going to matter to him though. I don't even know if it is worth the fight though. At this point I'm seriously considering just moving back to LA.

Apr 6, 2009

A couple days ago while I was driving around I saw these red clover flowers that I remember seeing all the time when we lived out on the Trace. I'm sure I have seen them all the time but for some reason that day it brought back alot of memories. So I started thinking back and remembering random stuff. I remember there was a time when momma and daddy made us go take pictures on this slope on the side of the road that was covered in those flowers. It was so random and I'm sure none of us wanted to do it either. For some reason, thinking about that made me think about how we would go easter egg hunting out there.So then I started thinking about how every Easter at church NuNu would made these huge prize eggs for the Easter egg hunt. They were like 10 times as big as the regular eggs and they always had good stuff in them...the good candy and money. Those were the eggs we would spend the entire time searching for. At that point it really hit me for the first time since her funeral that she passed away. I wont be able to watch and laugh at her while she sings and dancing around in her kitchen to her Conway Twitty cd. Or pick on her because she has a boyfriend or that I caught her kissing him in the driveway. It is so hard to believe that this time last year, me and Lyndon were staying with her and she was perky and healthy and just so full of life. And now, she is gone. I am so thankful and lucky though that I had her in my life for so long and that no matter what, she was always there for me. And I am even more thankful that Lyndon and I had those few months with her. I just wish that he would have been old enough to really know her and remember her.

Emily will be so thrilled..

I finally went to David's Bridal today. I tried on the dress and went ahead and ordered it. It so much prettier in person too. Not that I didn't think it was before. It should be here around April 24th or so they told me. You never can trust those people though. Hopefully they don't screw up everything and loss my dress or something. But anyway, that was it. I thought Emily would like to know so she didn't have to worry about it anymore. And I even took a picture..although I was talking and making faces and didnt realize Vickie was taking the picture yet. Ha ha, oh well.

Also, a few pictures of Lyndon from the store. They arent great but like before...he is a wiggly 2 yearold and its with my camera phone.

Mar 5, 2009

It's already beginning...

I decided to take Lyndon over to the little playground they have in the apt. complex since it was a fairly nice day. I thought it would be good for him and maybe wear his little butt out. And since the temperature here is still usually in the 30's, if not lower, there hasn't been much chance to take him out. So today when I was able to go outside in less than 4 layers of clothing and be comfortable in a t-shirt, it was a perfect day to get him out. After his nap I get him ready and just mention the word playground and he was ready to go. He stood at the door waiting very impatiently for me to get my shoes on. We walk across the parking lot to the playground. Well I walked, he hauled butt over there. And as we were almost to the gate, a little girl who was maybe 7 years old said "He is so cute!". I told her thank you and took Lyndon to the slide. He loves going down the slide. So he goes down a few times. Then that girl's little sister, who I'm guessing is about Lyndon's age, starts following him around. She then proceeds to grab his hand and escort him to the stairs to go back down the slide. This little girl bossed him around the whole playground the rest of the time we were out there. And he just let her. It had to be the cutest thing ever. She wouldn't let him go up the stairs unless he was holding her hand. He would fall on the ground and she would run to him and start trying to pull him up. I couldn't help but laugh and take pictures of course. Her sister told me that her little sister really likes him and that she had like 3 boyfriends. And yes, Lyndon is now one of those! I don't think I'm prepared for him to be having girlfriends yet...especially if he turns out to be like his daddy.

But anyways, here are the pictures. Try arent the best because I took them with my phone and its hard to take pictures of kids running around. The last one is when he and Clifford got into a disagreement about which way they were gonna go. Apparently you dont disagree with Clifford!

Just for Auntie Erika!

Last night when I was talking to my sister Erika, she claimes to have never seen pictures from Halloween. So there they are...ENJOY!

Oh..the countdown for Lyndon's birthday has begun. He told me there is only 26 days left!

Feb 20, 2009

The First!

So, I've had this thing for a while now and have yet to post anything on it. Between being a complete slacker, chasing around Lyndon and trying to workout as much as I can, this thing seemed to fall pretty low on the list. But, I figured it was time for an update. So where to begin...

We are currently in Springfield, IL. It's really nice here. Well, except for that whole snow thing and the negative degree weather. It didn't take long to get over the excitement of snow. Lyndon absolutely loves it though. Fortunately, it hasn't snowed as much as it usually does. But if I had to choose between the snow or the insanely hot summers of Louisiana, I would hands down pick the snow.

I realized today that Lyndon's birthday is in a little over a month. I cant believe my little boy is going to be 2! It doesnt seem like it has been that long since I had him. He is turning into such a little man. He has gotten so independent and has such a little attitude. We are currently working on potty training. Its turning into more of a task than I thought it would be. Somedays, I cant get him off the potty and others he refuses to go. He is so stubborn! I wonder where he gets that from. And apparently his favorite word at the moment is 'No!' Terrible two's is going to be so much fun!

A few months back we got a membership to the Y. And pretty much since then, it seems like that's the only place I go. I guess thats good though. I entered into a contest the Y was doing with one of the other recruiter's wife, Vickie. It like the Biggest Loser. Well its supposed to be like that. This is the first year they have done it so its a bit unorgainzed. We have to weigh in weekly with our partner. And then every other week we weigh in with our coach and do our "Last Chance Workout". Which is insane! Our coach Cindy is the devil...I swear she is. I make sure to tell her that every chance I get. And even though I highly doubt we will win, I figured it would keep us moivated and going to the gym. I'm making progress too. Since the contest started, which was Jan. 19th, I have lost 14.6 lbs. I still dont really see the differnce in my body though.

But anyway, I guess thats it for now.
